Sami Puukko knife
A handmade traditional Sami knife that is not only highly functional in field but also a true piece of art.
This knife and its leather sheath is handmade in Kaksama - Finnish Lapland by skilled craftsmen.
The blade is forged from 80CrV2 carbon steel which is considered to be one of the best type of steels for knifes as it is easy to sharpen and extremely tough with a excellent edge retention.
The handle is made from stacked birch bark and reindeer antlers, separated by layers of leather.
